“艺术家平台”（Artists Platform）每年都会精心策划举办主题性的音乐会，来满足爱乐者的期待。今年适逢歌剧大师普契尼150岁冥诞，随着美丽的旋律，我们再度来到意大利，一窥这美丽的国度，感受原汁原味的意大利歌剧精髓。

懂得歌剧的人们，没有不知道普契尼这个名字的；若说是没有听过这个名字的，也应该听过他的咏叹调旋律：像电影《窗外有蓝天》（A Room With A View）和《哭泣的恋人》（The Man Who Cried）中优美的旋律，无一不感人至深，使人无法忘怀。已故英国著名指挥家比切姆（Sir Thomas Beecham）曾说过：“威尔第是意大利有史以来最伟大的歌剧作曲家，但普契尼更受到世人的欢迎”。因为普契尼对音乐情境的表达能力极强，精彩的剧本配上令人“任何时候听到都会感动落泪”的旋律，有“立即打动人心”的魅力。

作为十九世纪末真实主义歌剧流派代表人物之一的普契尼，他一生共创作了12部歌剧，有半数以上的剧目仍然活跃于世界各大舞台。其作品追求题材真实，感情鲜明真挚，在处理女性题材方面的作品，尤为突显其对女人细腻的感知能力。虽然其作品不象威尔第的“恢宏庞大”，但很多人认为他是意大利继罗西尼之后除威尔第之外最伟大的音乐家。

此次“艺术家平台”向爱乐者推出的《普契尼·150音乐会》，集中展现普契尼歌剧中女主人公的情感世界；通过四位年轻女歌唱家的演唱，呈现出普契尼最为人们熟悉的歌剧片段：《女妖》、《曼侬·莱斯科》、《波西米亚人》、《蝴蝶夫人》、《托斯卡》、《贾尼·斯基基》、《修女安杰丽卡》、《燕子》和《图兰朵》。

此次纪念音乐会邀请了来自中国的李红和李洋、马来西亚的陈家仪和洪美枫四位古典乐坛的新生代女高音担纲演出，同时有女声合唱小组将为歌剧片段伴唱。作为“艺术家平台”（Artists Platform）的艺术总监钟国廷，也将以钢琴伴奏的身份，作为当天晚上的全场钢琴伴奏。
